Artistic Concepts LLC was created in 2003 by our Founder and Owner Mike Sullivan. Mike has a background as a General Contractor and Owner of successful stores where installation of products is a required part of the business. So he realized there was a need for the products and services he now offers, and Rustic Décor Store was established in the Scottsdale Design Center at 15125 N. Hayden Road, Suite 126, Scottsdale, AZ. The launch was highly successful; as a result two years later Rustic Décor Store added a second location in the Scottsdale Airpark. The new location, Rustic Décor Warehouse, is located at 7645 E. Evans Road, Suite 1, Scottsdale, AZ. Both locations are open to the public daily Monday thru Friday (Saturday at the Store), but do a large portion of their business with the construction trades, contractors, designers, and decorators.
“The company is growing because of its’ philosophy of individualized customer service and satisfying customer needs with an ever increasing variety of quality, unique and elegant rustic furniture décor items”, says Mike Sullivan, owner. Mike says, “I spend a lot of time with my clients, in my stores and at their homes, providing answers that help them make major decisions they make very few times in their lives and I make every day in mine.”
Mike recently changed his store’s name from Mesquite Furnishings & Doors, because he felt his product offering had grown to the point the name no longer described the wide variety of product offering, so he changed it to Rustic Décor Store and Rustic Décor Warehouse. Rustic meaning Southwestern Rustic. “Rustic may be somewhat of a misnomer because our furniture, doors, gates, and product offering is anything but plain and simple. Our wood products are elegant with a beautifully rough finish with rich colors of deep varying shades of reds, amber, and brown synonymous with our southwestern lifestyles and decorating flavor.” And everyone loves the beautiful copper sinks, and custom vent covers.
Rustic Décor Store specializes in Mesquite Wood Furniture and Doors, Mesquite Wood Gates, Antique Wood Doors, Copper Gas and Propane Lighting, Custom Powder Coated Vent Registers, Copper/Onyx/Granite sinks and much more to compliment its’ client’s unique southwest decors and attitudes. “We specialize in the hard to find and one of a kind wooden furniture pieces, with rustic elegance yet high in quality and long lasting durability. We are now offering copper sinks, and copper gas lighting, custom and in-stock products are available.
